Goals and assists from African players in Europe: September 1-3

French Ligue 1 club OGC Nice finally got the victory they were looking for this weekend with a 2-0 result over Strasbourg and it was Nice’s African contingent who played important roles. Algeria national team wide player Youcef Atal scored his first goal of the season and Nigerian striker Terem Moffi also found the net for Les Aiglons who are undefeated with a victory and three draws so far in the early season. The club located on the French Riviera will be counting on Atal and Moffi as well as their fellow African national team players Hicham Boudaoui and Badredine Bouanani (both Algeria), Jérémie Boga (Ivory Coast), Aliou Baldé (Senegal) and Youssouf Ndayishimiye (Burundi) to perform well this season.
