Africans contributed plenty more goals and assists in European leagues over the weekend even with the English Premier League not in action. Mohammed Kudus continued his excellent run of form for Ajax as he was rewarded with another start for the Dutch giants in their 5-0 destruction of Heerenveen and Algeria national team striker Andy Delort continued his fantastic form with a bicycle kick winner for Nice. The story of the weekend however may have been a dream debut for Gambia’s Yankuba Minteh who came off the bench to score the winning goal for Danish club Odense against Superliga giants FC Copenhagen.
